Seat the straw
Push the straw into the base of the nipple until it stops. If it is not fully seated, the bottle will leak.

Attach the gravity ball
Clip the weighted ball onto the free end of the straw. This is the part that follows the milk.

Fill and close
Fill, then tighten the collar until it stops turning. Most leaks come from a collar that is close but not closed.

Take it fully apart
Remove all five parts — bottle, collar, nipple, straw, and gravity ball.

Wash in warm soapy water
Use a mild dish soap and clean every part thoroughly.

Use the brush in the box
It reaches the inside of the straw, where a sponge cannot.

Top rack of the dishwasher
Top rack only. High heat at the bottom can warp the parts.

Air dry standing up
Let everything dry completely before you put it back together.
